One homicide was reported in Boston this week. On Friday evening officers responded to calls for shots fired near 5 Tate Street in Dorchester where they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim in this homicide has yet to be identified. Boston police ask that any information about this incident be called in to the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.

Two homicides were reported in Boston this week.
- Dominique Boveill, 20, was found suffering from gunshot wounds near Tremont and Camden Streets at 4:27 a.m. Sunday morning. Boveill was transported to Boston Medical Center where he later died.
- Shannon Richardson Jr., 25, was shot and killed near 742 Dudley Street on Wednesday. Richardson, running from his assailant, was shot several times in the back. He made his way to a local store where officers later came to his aid.
Peter Carvalho, 25, of Dorchester, was arraigned Thursday for the murder of Shannon Richardson Jr., 25. A plea of not-guilty was entered on his behalf by defense attorney Kelli Porges. Carvalho returns to court June 23.
