In the early hours of Sunday, May 18, Boston Police officers responded to calls for shots fired in the area of Tremont and Camden Streets. On arriving officers found a black male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Boston Medical Center where he later died.
The victim in this shooting has been identified as Dominique Boveill, 20, of Mattapan.
The murder is currently under investigation; there are no suspects at this time.

At about 4:27am, on Sunday, May 18, 2014, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a call for shots fired in the area of Tremont and Camden Streets. On arrival, officers observed a black male, believed to be in his twenties, suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 20 year-old Dominique Boveill of Mattapan.
