On July 22, police identified the man who died in a 4th of July shooting at 12 Holburn Street in Roxbury. According to reports, 26-year-old Ryan Alexander of Boston was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe shots were fired around 10:47 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. According to the Boston Police Department, a second victim in his twenties was discovered on the scene but suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The Boston Globe reported that the second victim was childhood friends with Alexander and only sustained a wound to his arm.
