A man was found stabbed in the area of 5 Ames Street in Dorchester Sunday midnight, police said.
According to police, the victim, whose identity has not been released, was stabbed at about 12:04 a.m.
Responding officers found the man with apparent stab wounds, police said. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said there was no further information on the incident Wednesday afternoon.

At about 12:04 AM on Sunday, September 21, 2014, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 5 Ames Street in Dorchester.
On arrival, officers observed the male victim lying on the ground outside of the above location suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
