**Update (8/4/2014): The victim of this homicide has been identified as Dwight Price, 51, of Boston.**
Cops are investigating the stabbing death of a man whose body was found at a South Boston playground.
Just after 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, a jogger called in to report a body in the area of Moakley Park at 1005 Columbia Road in South Boston. An adult male, believed in his early 50s and homeless, was discovered suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
Police observed a trail of blood at the scene and are working to determine where the actual stabbing took place. No arrests have been made at this time.

At about 6:39 a.m. on Friday Aug. 1, 2014, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call to investigate a person in the area of Moakley Park, 1005 Columbia Road, South Boston.
On arrival, officers found an adult male believed to be in his early 50s suffering from apparent stab wounds. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
