No arrests in death Erick Pierre-Louis during June shootout

Investigators are still searching for answers in the violent death of Erick Pierre-Louis on a Mattapan street last June.

Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk County district attorney’s office, said the investigation was ongoing, but offered up no other details.

Police say Pierre-Louis died of gunshot wounds after a shootout between two vehicles at about 12:45 p.m. on June 15, 2013.

Witnesses told police they saw the vehicle Pierre-Louis was driving hit a parked car near 88 Wellington Hill Street during the shootout.

Responding officers found Pierre-Louis, 28, dead at the scene, police said.

At the time of the incident, police reported they were looking for a light green RAV-type vehicle with a partial Massachusetts license plate number of 875.

At about 12:49 pm, Saturday, June 15, 2013, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 88 Wellington Hill Street.

On arrival, officers located a male victim believed to be in his 30’s suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Witnesses reported seeing two motor vehicles exchanging gunshots and the victim’s motor vehicle crashing into another parked vehicle. Officers are looking for a light green RAV type vehicle with partial Mass plate 875, in connection with the shooting.
