A teenaged boy was fatally shot in Charlestown on the night of Tuesday, November 4.
The Boston Globe identified him as Ryan Morrissey, citing a post on the Facebook page of St. Clement School in Medford. Morrissey was a student at the school.
Charlestown police officers responded to a radio call for a person shot at about 9:40 pm. Officers found a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to Mass General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

At about 9:40pm, on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, officers from District A-15 (Charlestown) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 274 Main Street. On arrival, officers located a 17 year-old male suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to Mass General Hospital. The victim has since succumbed to his injuries and been pronounced deceased.
