A man was fatally stabbed in a Dorchester apartment Thursday night, authorities said.
At 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, officers responded to a reported domestic incident at 157 Washington St. in Dorchester. On arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a single stab wound. The man, who was not a resident of the apartment, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing and no charges have been filed. Boston police urge anyone with information to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.

At about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 officers from District 11 (Dorchester) responded to a report of a domestic incident in the area of 157 Washington St. in Dorchester.
On arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a single stab wound. That man, who was not a resident of the apartment, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The adult resident of the apartment was at the scene and has been interviewed by responding officers and homicide detectives. Based on the facts and circumstances as they are known to investigators at this time, no charges have been filed. The investigation remains open, but authorities do not believe the incident presents any ongoing public safety threat.
