Update: Jan. 29 at 2:10 p.m.: The Boston Globe reports that the man killed on Dorchester Avenue Sunday night was 22-year-old Julien Printemps, according to Printemps’ mother. The newspaper additionally said that Printemps’ mother told reporters her son had at one time dated the woman who was killed hours after him in a double shooting on Rosewood Street in Mattapan early Monday morning.
A man believed to be in his 20s was shot and killed in Dorchester on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded to 1886 Dorchester Ave. shortly before 10 p.m., and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police statement. Authorities said he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Death Investigation in the area of 1886 Dorchester Avenue
January 27, 2014At about 9:54pm, on Sunday, January 26, 2014, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 1886 Dorchester Ave. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his twenties, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
