Man found dead after shooting near Trotter Elementary School

Zachary Pinnick was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds the morning of September 10.

According to police, shots were fired around 4:40 a.m. Upon arriving at 56 Holworthy St., officers found the Pinnick, 32, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspects have been identified and anyone with information is urged to call (800) 494-TIPS or text the word 'TIP' to 27463.

At about 4:40 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2015, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 56 Holworthy Street in Roxbury.
Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim in his early 30’s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
