Man Killed in South End Shooting

A man who was found shot early Saturday morning in the South End has died, authorities said.

In the early hours of Saturday, July 19, Boston police responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 68 Aguadilla St. in the South End. Upon arrival, police discovered a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he later died.

At about 2:44 a.m., on Saturday, July 19, 2014, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 68 Aguadilla St. On arrival, officers observed a male victim, believed to be in his early 20s, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
